Leonard Arthur Long
Leonard Arthur "Lenny" Long, 53, of Kittanning, Pa., died Sunday, September 14,
2014, at home.
Born August 1, 1961, in Kittanning, he was a son of the late Dolly A. (Hartman)
and Paul W. Long Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Kittanning.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, in Kittanning, and was a 1979
graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
He served in the Army, and was employed by Flir for 13 years.
Lenny enjoyed riding ATVs.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Paulette E. (Kissinger) Long, of
Kittanning; two sons, Brandon (Jennifer) Simensky, of Kittanning, and Justin A.
Long, of Kittanning; a grandson, Kayden Simensky, of Kittanning; four brothers,
Paul W. (Linda Lou) Long Jr., of Worthington, Harold "Eugene" Long, Frederick
Alan (Delores C.) Long and Larry J. (Crystal N.) Long, all of Kittanning; three
sisters, Cathy (Paul) Neupert, of Worthington, Debbie Lynn (Barry) Stouffer, of
Cowansville, Pa.and Lori (Wayne) Kuhn of Ohio and ; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Lee
Damore on Jan. 13, 2013.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the KENNEDY
and BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME, in Kittanning, where services will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
The Rev. Carl Johnson, his church pastor, will officiate.
Interment in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
