Frank Martin George SR
Frank Martin George Sr., 51, of Arcadia, Fla., formerly of Kittanning, Pa, died
Friday, June 13, 1997 in Bay Pines, Fla.
He was born October 14, 1945 in West-Franklin Township, Worthington, Pa., the
son of Grace Marie (Bonner) and Charles Alfonzo George.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin School, Worthington, Pa.
Mr. George was employed with Keesling Construction, Punta Gorda, Fla., where he
was an auto mechanic.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose 1693, Punta Gorda.
He moved from Kittanning to Arcadia more than 30 years ago.
Survivors include one son, Frank M. George Jr. of Arcadia; one daughter, Katonya
Williams of Homestead, Fla.; one grandchild; his mother of Fenelton, Pa.; two
brothers, Charles Leroy "Joe" George of Zolfo Springs, Fla. and Gary L. George
of Kittanning; and one sister, Margaret Anne Baptiste of Fenelton.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Carl George, one sister,
Eva Mae George.
Funeral services were held today, Tuesday, June 17, 1997.
Interment took place in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Arcadia, Fl., with graveside
military honor conducted by the DeSoto County Honor Guard. |
