Sandra Lee Long Damore
Sandra Lee (Long) Damore, 66, of Templeton, Pa., died Sunday, January. 13, 2013,
at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born Dececember 14, 1946, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of Paul W. and Dolly
A. (Hartman) Long.
She was a 1964 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading and
spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a resident of the area
for 48 years.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph A. Damore Sr.; six children, Sandra "Jodi"
Maycock (Robert "Dan"), of Worthington, Lisa Peate (Tim S.), of Adrian, Joseph
A. Damore Jr. (Sue), of Hawthorn, Joanne L. Petras (Scott A.), of Kittanning,
Darla J. Damore (Scott), of Leechburg, and Daniel P. Damore (Lisa E.), of
Kittanning; five brothers; Paul W. Long Jr. of Craigsville, H. Eugene Long,
Frederick A. Long, Larry J. Long and Leonard A. Long all of Kittanning; two
sisters, Cathy (Paul) Neupert of Worthington, Debbie Lynn (Barry) Stouffer, of
Cowansville, Pa and Lori S. Kuhn of West Virginia and 16 grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; and her mother-in-law, Gertrude Damore.
She was preceded in death by her her mother, Dolly A. Long, Dec. 11, 1997 and
her dad, Paul W. Long Sr, May 20, 2000.
Family and close friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15,
2013 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning. Private services will be
officiated by Tim Peate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Kittanning,
for a memorial fund.
