Marshall Loureigh Good

Marshall Loureigh Good, 71, of Palm Springs, California, formerly of
Worthington, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm
Springs, Ca.
     
He was born July 30, 1946, at home in Worthington to the late Loureigh and
Roberta (Bowser) Good. 

He graduated from Worthington High School in 1964; from Clarion State College in
1968 with a degree in library science/education; and from College of the Desert,
Palm Desert, Ca. in 1987 with a post-baccalaureate associates degree.
     
Marshall taught at Falconer High School, Falconer, New York and Trinity High
School, Washington, Pa. He also was employed at the Downingtown Inn,
Downingtown, Pa.; Jostens Yearbook Printing in Greenville, S.C.; Hilton Hotel,
Morongo Casino Resort and Spa and the Spa Resort Casino, all in or near Palm
Springs, Ca.
     
He loved great food; watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins; visiting
casinos across the country; entertaining family and friends with Bill on their
ranch in Desert Hot Springs; and visiting family and friends in Pa.
     
Marshall is survived by sisters Barbara Kunselman of Fenelton and Jennifer
Palmgren (and husband Gib) of Ingram, Pa.; brothers Dalton Good (wife Melanie
and daughter Adin) of Worthington; and John (and wife Judy) Good of
Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
     
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law Donald Kunselman and
his long-time partner William Stapely.
     
Internment of ashes was at Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and
friends are invited to a memorial service to be held at the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in Worthington at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 18.
