Charles Robert Hogg JR
Charles Robert "Chuck" Hogg, 67, of Front Royal, Va., formerly of Worthington,
passed into the next life Tuesday January 10, 2012, at the St. Thomas More
Medical Complex, Hyattsville, Md.
He was born October 31, 1944, at his grandparents farm in North Buffalo
Township, Armstrong County, to the late Charles R. and Agnes T. (Smith) Hogg.
He was married to Rosemary Wilkerson who passed away Dec 31, 1996.
He was a 1963 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School and attended
Clarion College. He was a Christian.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Meghan and Joshua Gurley; a
grandson, Tyler; and a granddaughter, Nyla, all of Front Royal, Va.; two
stepdaughters, Kelly (Mark) Druin, of Memphis, Ind., and Traci (Don) Wilson, of
Boulder, Colo.; a stepson, Richard (Amy) Henderson, of San Diego, Calif.; six
stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and his father and mother
in-law, Gene and Mildred Wilkerson, of Seneca, S.C. Chuck also is survived by
five sisters, Dianne (Richard) Hohn, of Fenelton, Judith Crissman, of Slippery
Rock, Patricia (William) Wyant, of Freeport, BettySu (James) Corey, of Rolla,
Mo., and Wendy (Douglas) Fabina, of Frederick, Md.; three brothers, Thomas
(Katherine) Hogg, of Slippery Rock, David (Tammy) Hogg, of Slippery Rock, and
Jason Hogg, of Connellsville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and
cousins in the Armstrong and Butler County area.
The family of Charles Robert "Chuck" Hogg will hold a celebration of life
service in his honor from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Srader Grove Presbyterian
Church, 108 Srader Grove Road, Freeport
