Thomas Dorsey Flick

Thomas Dorsey Flick, 76, of Worthington, PA, passed away on Thursday, September
23, 2021, at home following a lengthy battle with emphysema. 

He was born September 20, 1945, in Kittanning, PA., a son of Robert L. Flick and
Miriam L. (Hoyt) Flick.

H was a 1963 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.

In life, Tom served for 27 years in the U.S. Army and retired having attained
the rank of First Sergeant. 

Upon his retirement, Tom spent the majority of his time in California, where he
reveled in spending time with his grandchildren, particularly watching them play
high school football under the lights on Friday nights. 

Later in life, Tom returned home to the Worthington area and enjoyed his time
playing golf; following the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins; socializing with
friends; and valued his church and spiritual life, where he was an active member
of the Worthington Presbyterian Church. 

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Melissa Rene’; his
grandson, Matthew Stephen Colligan; and his sisters, Judith Ann (Flick) Trulick,
and Carole Louise (Flick) McHaddon. 

Tom is survived by his son and daughter in law, Rich and Maria Colligan, of Palm
Springs, CA.; two grandsons, Christopher Colligan, of Helena, Mt and Kai
Colligan, of San Diego, CA.; and two brothers, Robert Flick of Ocean City, NJ
and William Flick, of Costa Mesa, CA. 

Visitors will be received at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 197 Linton
St., Worthington, PA 16262 on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1
p.m. with funeral services to follow directly thereafter followed by a graveside
service at the Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery. Reverend Robert F. Hindman,
pastor, will preside over the service.

In lieu of flowers, any gift in Tom’s name may be made to the Worthington
Presbyterian Church.
 
Arrangements are entrusted to the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington,
PA.
