Charles Leroy George
Charles Leroy "Joe" George, 56, of Zolfo Springs, Fla. (Hardee County),
formerly of Worthington, Pa., died Wednesday, August 5, 1998 at Florida
Hospital, Wauchula, Fla.
Born March 3, 1942 in West-Franklin Township, Worthington, Pa., he was a son of
Charles Alfonzo and Grace Marie (Bonner) George.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin School, Worthington, Pa.
He moved to Hardee County, Fla.,15 years ago from Fenelton, Pa. He was employed
at Driskell's Service Center, Wauchula, where he was a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Silvia George; one stepson, William Daugherty of
Zolfo Springs; one step-daughter, Mrs. John (Angie) Daugherty Channel of Zolfo
Springs; one grandson, Cody Lee Channel; one brother, Gary L. George of
Kittanning, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Norman N. (Margaret Ann) Baptiste of Fenelton,
Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carl George and Frank M.
George Sr.; one sister, Eva Mae George. |
