Charles Robert Long

Charles Robert Long, 53, formerly of Fenelton, died Tuesday, February 3, 1998,
of natural causes at his home in Ashville, Ala.

Born in Kittanning, October 19, 1944, he was the son of Robert Long and the late
Betty (Smith) Long. He was the stepson of Frances Long.

He was a 1962 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

He was an auto body repairman.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Long; two daughters, Mrs. Todd (Tawnya) Arbutina
of Evans City and Lisa Long of Clermont, Fla., two stepchildren, Matthew and
Christie Carden, both of Ashville; his father and stepmother of Vandergrift; two
brothers, Ken Long of Fenelton and Herb Long of Vandergrift; a sister, Darla
Bolte of Travorton; and two stepbrothers, Clark Eckman of Vero Beach, Fla. and
Andy Eckman of Jersey Shore, Pa.

Friends of Charles R. Long, who died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, will be received
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 424 Bear
St., Worthington. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral
home with the Rev. Sue Irons, pastor of Worthington Evangelical Church,
officiating. 

Burial will be at Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
