Nancy G. Daugherty Riley/1962
Freeport
Nancy Grace Riley, 64, of Freeport, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 22,
2008, at her residence. Nancy was born Oct. 23, 1943, in Kittanning, daughter of
the late Simon H. and Phyllis Mae (Pence) Dougherty. She attended Slate Lick
United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed camping, traveling, going to yard sales
and watching NASCAR races. Nancy is survived by her two sons, David (Mary)
Hidinger, of Freeport, and Scott E. (Chrissy) Hidinger, of Bear, Del.; five
grandchildren, Danielle A., David W., Sean, Andrew and Amber Hidinger; sister,
Barbara (Jim) Patterson, of Elkton, Md.; and brother, Walter (Jackie) Dougherty,
of Slate Lick. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha Hidinger
Aubuchon; and sister, Gloria G. Turney. Family and friends are invited to call
from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon Friday in the REDMOND FUNERAL
HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport, with the Rev. Mark Davis officiating.
Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. To send a
