Margaret Luana Lewis Ritzert
Margaret Luana Lewis Ritzert, 30, of RD 2, Chicora, Pa., died at 10:30 p.m.
yesterday, Sunday, December 14, 1969, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital,
Kittanning, after a short illness.
She was born September 27, 1939 in Worthington, Pa., the daughter of Carl Leroy
Lewis and Olive Elizabeth (Berkhouse) Lewis.
Mrs/ Ritzert was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (North Oakland),
Chicora.
She was a 1957 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
and Clarion State College, Clarion, Pa. She had taught school in Clearfield
Township.
Surviving are her husband, Francis J. Ritzert; a son, Francis Jr., at home; her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl L. Lewis of Worthington; a sister, Mrs. Patricia Lee
Streeter of Sandusky, Ohio; one brother, Newton Edward Lewis, with the U.S. Army
in New Jersey; a half-brother, Walter Wallace May of Carson City, Nev.; and her
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Vina Berkhouse of RD 2, Karns City, Pa.
Friends of Margaret Luana Lewis Ritzert, 30, of RD 2, Chicora, Pa., who died at
10:30 p.m. December 14, 1969, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening,
December 15, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, at the James
A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington., where a Wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 1969, at the St.
Joseph Roman Catholic Church (North Oakand), Chicora, Pa. The Rev. DePaul Ripko,
church pastor, will officiate.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, North Oakland, Pa.
