Robert Edward Bundy, Sr.
(April 22, 1936 - December 23, 2009)
Robert E. Bundy, Sr. 73,of Palmyra, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in
his home.
He was born, April 22, 1936 in Craigsville, PA, a son of the late Earl and
Martha (Fischer) Bundy. Mr. Bundy was a retired inspector for the Federal
Railroad Administration; a Marine Corp. veteran & a U S Navy Reserve retiree. He
was an active member of the Country & Town Baptist Church in Mechanicsburg; and
an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Stephanie (DaMore) Bundy; a son, Robert E. Bundy, Jr.
and his wife Elissa and their daughter Hannah of Fairfield, OH; a brother Earl
Bundy of Worthington, PA; 4 sisters; Betty Goephert of Penn Hills, PA, Helen
Raves of Mechanicsburg, PA , Maybelle Claypool of Carlisle, PA, and Esther
Catalida of Cowansville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the
Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 until 11 AM.
Inurnment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the
Flight 93 National Memorial, P O Box 96149, Washington, DC 20090.
