Berton Paul Flick
Berton Paul Flick, 37, of Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Worthington, died
Saturday, January 29, 1966, in Harbor General Hospital, Torrance, Calif., where
he had been a patient since last Tuesday.
Born October. 11, 1928, in Worthington, son of the late James A. and Virginia M.
(Bowser) Flick.
He was a 1949 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served from 1946 to 1948 and was a
member of the Lutheran Church of Worthington.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Delbert P. (Virginia M. Bowser-Flick) Anthony of
Worthington; his father, James A. Flick of Macksburg, Ohio; his step-father,
Delbert P. Anthony of Worthington; a brother, James A. Flick of Worthington and
one nephew.
Friends of Berton Paul Flick of Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Worthington, who
died Saturday, Jan 29, 1966, will be received at the James A. Flick Funeral
Home, Worthington from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will
be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home, with the Rev. James
McCormick, pastor of the Worthington Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
