Deloris June Washburn Booher Moffat

Deloris June Washburn Booher Moffat, 52, of 37 Summerville Avenue,  passed away
on Saturday, August 29, 1981, at the Kingston Medical Center in Kingston, NY.

She was born in Worthington, August 5, 1929, the daughter of George Perry and
Laura Mae (Claypool) Washburn.  She moved to Worcester nearly eight years ago.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, PA.

Deloris was an editor for the Cavalcade of Auto Racing, a weekly paper published
in Worcester.

She is survived by her husband, James H Moffat, three sons, Thomas Booher of
Philadelphia, PA., William Booher of Butler, Pa., and Kenneth Booher of Norfolk,
VA.; three daughters, Air Force Sgt. Debra Booher in North Carolina, Jean Miner
of Webster, OH. and Cathy Speicher of Butler, PA., her mother Laura (Claypool)
Washburn of Worthington, PA.; two brothers, the Rev. Floyd Washburn of
Baltimore, VA., and Perry Washburn in Ohio; two sisters, Maxine Milligan in
Worthington and Celestine Speakman in Ohio and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her father.

First husband Walter Clayton Booher passed away in 2018.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the Caswell-King Funeral Home,
474 Grove Street. Kingston.

Interment in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
