James William Wolfe SR 

James William Wolfe Sr., 80, of Worthington, died Friday, May 25, 2007, while at
his camp in Jefferson County. 

He was born April 17, 1927, in Ford Cliff, a son of the late Robert Adam and
Carie Blanch (Klingensmith) Wolfe, and was a resident of the area for 75 years.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa. 

He retired from Union Carbide, where he worked for 18 years. 

He was a U.S. Army veteran, charter member of Victory Baptist Church, and member
of the Worthington American Legion. 

He enjoyed camping and woodworking. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Wolfe; a son, James W. Wolfe Jr.;
daughter-in-law, Cara Wolfe; and two granddaughters, Jennifer Leigh and Cathy
Lane, all of Worthington. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Delmer
Adam Wolfe and Harvey C. Wolfe; and a sister, Laura Rupert. 

Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME,
Worthington. Additional visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11
a.m. Wednesday in Victory Baptist Church with Pastor James Herb, church pastor,
officiating. 

Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
