Robert Henry Waddell
Robert Henry Waddell, 51, formerly of Worthington, R.D. 1, died Tuesday,
December 19, 1978, in Greenville, Miss., of natural causes.
Born June 4, 1927, in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County, he was the son
of the late William and Clara (Barker) Waddell.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
He was a construction worker in Mississippi. He had served with the U.S. Navy
during World War II.
Surviving are a brother, Ruben Waddell of Greenville, S.C.; a sister, Mrs.
Theron (C. Jean) Boal of Fenelton R.D. 1; two nephews and three nieces.
Friends of Robert Henry Waddell of Greenville, Miss., who died Tuesday, Dec. 19,
1978, will be received at the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington, from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday
from the funeral home, with the Rev. Roland Clemson, pastor of Franklin Union
Baptist Church, Worthington, officiating.
Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
