Worthington

Laretta M. Graham, 81, of Worthington, died Friday, June 18, 2010, in Armstrong
County Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1929, in Worthington, she was a daughter
of the late Earl and Bessie (Truitt) Gaiser. She was a member of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Worthington. She had worked for years at the Children's Shop
in Kittanning, and retired as a clerk from the Worthington Post Office. She was
a member of the Worthington American Legion Auxiliary; first woman president of
the Armstrong County Historical Society; Girl Scout leader; and a graduate of
Worthington High School. An avid fisherman, she also enjoyed writing poetry,
singing and storytelling. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Fleeger
(Richard), of Worthington; two grandchildren, Richard Fleeger and Ian Fleeger,
both of Worthington; two sisters-in-law, Jean Gaiser, of Slippery Rock, and
Lydia Gaiser-Minteer, of Kittanning; her other daughters, Kim Braden, of Cabot,
and Amy (Doug) Sedwick, of Chicora; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Graham; son,
Stan Graham; brothers, Ed, Marve and Lee Gaiser; and sister, Thelma Pence.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Visitation continues from 10 a.m. until time
of services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Worthington,
with the Revs. Larry Camberg and Carl Johnson co-officiating. Interment in
Worthington Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical
