Paul William Long SR

Paul William Long, 74, of Worthington died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Armstrong
County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.

Born March 22, 1926, in Armstrong County, he was the son of Fred and Ruth
(Bowser) Long.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was a member of the Craigsville United Methodist Church.

Mr. long had worked at Pangborn Industries for 23 years and retired from Gregg
Security in 1995 after eight years.

He was a World War II Navy veteran.

Surviving are five sons, Paul Long Jr. of Craigsville, H. Eugene and Frederick
Long, both of Kittanning R.D. 3, Larry Long of Kittanning and Leonard Long of
Worthington; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Sandy) Damore of Templeton, Mrs. Paul
(Cathy) Neupert of Worthington and Mrs. Lori Kuhn of West Virginia; two
brothers, Donald and Robert Long, both of Worthington; two sisters, Mrs. Betty
Cressler of Kittanning and Linda Long of Worthington; 23 grandchildren; and 19
great-grandchldren.

His wife, Dolly A. (Hartman) Long, died Dec. 11, 1997. A sister, Delores Stewart
and a brother, Charles, also preceded him in death.

Services were today at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington. The Rev. Chris
Murphy, pastor of Limestone-Reesdale  Church of God, officiate. 

Burial was at the Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
