Ernest Clair Williams

Ernest Clair Williams, 33, of 223 South Church St., died this morning,
September. 19, 1956, in the Butler County Memorial Hospital, after several
months of illness with leukemia.

Born in Armstrong County, March 22, 1923, to Walter R. Williams and Grace P.
(Blose) Williams.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Williams was a member of the First Methodist Church.

He was employed as a crane-man by the Armco Steel Corporation

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marian (Kontos) Williams; a son, Roger Williams at
home; his mother, Mrs. Grace (Blose) Williams of Butler R.D. 2; four sisters,
Mrs. Ralph (Norma) Hayes of Butler R.D. 5, Mrs. Floyd (Virginia) Rettig of
Butler M.R. 11, Mrs. Ben (Jetta May) Thoma of Butler R.D. 2, and Mrs. Robert
(Pauline) Clowes of Bainbridge, Md.; and two brothers, Frank L. Williams of
Craigsville and George A. Williams of East Butler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter R. Williams.

Friends of Ernest Clair Williams of 223 South Church St., who died Wednesday,
Sept. 19, 1956, will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home E North at McKean
Sts. from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral
services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the funeral home with the Rev.
John B. Warman, pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. 

Burial will be in Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
