Robert Allen Forringer
Robert Allen Forringer, 74, of Worthington RD2, died Saturday, May 20, 2000 in
Sugar Creek Rest, Inc., Worthington RD2.
He was born April 29, 1926 in Worthington to Samuel Henry and Nellie (Bell)
Foringer
He was a 1943 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa
Mr. Forringer retired from RCA, Morristown, N.J. in 1988 after 32 years of
service.
During World War II, he served in the Coast Guard.
He was a member of Craigsville United Methodist Church.
His memberships included the Worthington American Legion.
Survivors include one son, Robert R. Forringer of Ozark, Ala.; one daughter,
Mrs. Robert (Jodi) Brown of Spotsylvania, Va.; two grandchildren, Robert R.
Forringer Jr., and Jennifer Ann Brown; two brothers, Donald Eugene Foringer of
Freeport and Clarence Leroy Foringer of Worthington; and one sister, Geraldine
Bell "Gerry" Williams of Florence, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Emma Jean (Turney) Forringer,
who died October 21, 1994; and one brother, Henry Harrison Foringer on October
5, 1996.
Friends of Robert A. Forringer, 74, of Worthington RD2, who died May 20, 2000,
will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119
Bear St., Worthington, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday
with Rev. Sherry Cook, pastor of Craigsville United Methodist Church
officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
