Alma Doris George Bowser

Alma Doris George Bowser, 66, of 626 Cherry St., Worthington, died Wednesday
night February 24, 1988, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital after an extended
illness.

Born February 14, 1922, in Ford City, she was the daughter of John and Dorothy
F. (Hepler) George.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mrs. Bowser was employed for many years by Monty's Freezer Fresh and by the
Belmont Arena, Kittanning.

She was a active member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Worthington the
Lutheran Church Women and the Kittanning Women's Club.

Surviving are her husband, Russell V. Bowser, whom she married in 1939, a son,
R. Jack Bowser of Billings, Mont.; two daughters, Chandria "Brenda" F. Bowser of
El Sabrante, Calif., and Mrs. Gary (J. Annette) Brocious of Kittanning R.D. 7;
and three grandchildren and two great-grandchldren.

Friends of Mrs. Alma Doris Bowser, 626 Cherry St., Worthington, who died
Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1988, will be received at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home,
Worthington, from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church for an
hour before services. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Donald Worth, pastor,
officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the
Hospice Program of the Visiting Nurses Association, 154 Hindman Rd., Butler, or
to the Lutheran Church Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Worthington 

Burial will be in Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
