George Dan Gaiser, 88, of Worthington, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at home. He
was born April 11, 1919, to the late Arthur and Viola (Forman) Gaiser and lived
in the community all of his life. Mr. Gaiser was the former owner of the
Atlantic gas station and garage, Worthington, an Army veteran who served from
1941 to 1945 in Normandy and Northern France and of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley; seven stepchildren; 13 grandchildren, and two
great-grandchildren. He also was predeceased by his first wife, Isabel (Patton)
Gaiser. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Additional visitation from 10 until an 11 a.m.
service Friday in Evangelical Lutheran Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Nola
Eisenbrandt officiating. Interment in Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery.
