Verna C. Claypool Morgan
Worthington
Verna C. Morgan, 84, of Worthington, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, in Erdley’s
Sunnyside Personal Care Home.
She was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Armstrong County, daughter of the late Lawrence
and Iva (Henderson) Claypool.
She previously worked at Hiland Pharmacy.
She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Worthington, and was very
active in church organizations.
She loved sewing, quilting, cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert M. Morgan Sr.; daughters,
Barbara Manuel and husband, James, and Sally Guz, both of Kittanning; brother,
Robert M. Morgan Jr. and wife, Beth, of Tennessee; four grandchildren,
Christopher Manuel, Rebecca Bilott, Bethany Morgan and Brett Morgan; and a
great-granddaughter, Isabella Bilott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and four
sisters. |
