Roberta B. Good
Worthington
Roberta B. (Bowser) Good, 85, of Worthington died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at
Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township. She was born April
29, 1920 to Edward and Hattie (McDermott) Bowser. Mrs. Good was a lifelong
member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington. An avid golfer and
bowler, she was a member of the Neighborhood Bowling League for 45 years.
Survivors include three sons, Marshall Good of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., John
Good and wife Judy of Fenelton and Dalton Good and wife Melanie of Verona; two
daughters, Barbara Kunselman and husband Don of Fenelton and Jennifer Palmgren
and husband Gib of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant
daughter, Harriet; three brothers, Howard Bowser, Edward "John" Bowser and
Raymond Bowser, who died in infancy; seven sisters, Viola Bowser, Delores
Ambrose, Vivian Blose, Adda Morrison, Mary Lou Morrison, Mabel Adams and Lovella
who died in infancy; and her friend George Kerr. Friends will be received from 7
to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the F. Duane Snyder
Funeral Home, Inc., Bear Street, Worthington. Additional visitation will be from
10 a.m. Saturday at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington until funeral
services at 11 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Nola Eisenbrandt, officiating.
Burial will be in the Worthington Lutheran Cemetery. The family requests
memorial contributions may be made to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of
Worthington. |
