Helen June Forester Rhodes Kashubara
Helen June Forester Rhodes Kashubara, 73, a homemaker of 8803 N. Palmyra Road,
Canfield, Ohio, died of a heart ailment Thursday afternoon, January 14, 1993, in
St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Youngstown, Ohio.
She was born November 30, 1919, in Kittanning, Pa., a daughter of Calvin D. and
Elmyra (Schreckengost) Forester. She was of the Protestant Faith.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
She and her first husband, William D. Rhodes/Class of 1935 were divorced.
She is survived by her second husband, Daniel Kashubara whom she married in
1960.
She also leaves three sons, William Rhodes of Downey, Calif., Dennis Rhodes of
Peach Tree City, Ga., and Larry Rhodes at home.; four daughters, Sally Naples of
Canfield, Beverly Turnbull of Smiths, Ala., Karen Fishel of Salem, Ohio, and
Linda Welton of Austintown, Ohio; four sisters, Lillian Fennell of Kittanning,
Pa., Dene Wells of Crawfordsville, Ind., Joan Prologo of Alliance, Ohio and Jean
Pyers of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Jack Forester of North Lauderdale, Fla.;
10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her parents and a son, Daniel C., are deceased.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield, where
friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the
War Veterans Museum, Canfield, Ohio.
