Robert N. Morgan

Robert N. Morgan, 87, of Worthington died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, in Armstrong
County Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1920, in Bovard to the late Bert
George and Emma Marie (Funk) Morgan and also was predeceased by his wife, Verna
C. Morgan, brother William M. Morgan and sister Mary L. Overdorff. Mr. Morgan
was a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran, retired from Eljer Pottery
and a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church, Worthington. He enjoyed
woodworking, remodeling and furniture making. Father of Barbara Manuel and
husband James and Sally Guz and Crawford Johnson of Kittanning and Robert N.
Morgan Jr. and wife Beth of Tennessee. Grandfather of Christopher Manuel and
wife Laura, Rebecca Bilott and husband Branden and Bethany and Brett Morgan.
Great-grandfather of Isabella Bilott. Brother of James D. Morgan, Edward B.
Claypool, Grace E. Eichorn and Annabelle R. Beardsley. Visitation from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Additional
visitation from 10 until an 11 a.m. service Monday in Evangelical Lutheran
Church with the Rev. Nola Eisenbrandt officiating. Interment in Worthington
Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of the church. |
