C. Leroy "Lee" Gaiser, 87, of Prospect, passed away Sunday morning, July 27,
2008, at Butler Memorial Hospital emergency room. He was born Aug. 19, 1920, in
Worthington, and was the son of Earl and Bessie Hilliard Gaiser. He was a
retired engineer from the PennDot Department in Indiana, Pa. He was a member of
the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington. He enjoyed camping, music and
his pet dogs. He is survived by his wife, Jean Hilliard Gaiser, whom he married
Dec. 9, 1976; one son, Douglas Gaiser and his wife, Susan, of Kittaning; three
daughters, Darlene Moorehead, Patricia Leonard and Terry Emminger, all
originally from the Kittaning area; one stepson, Douglas Badger and his wife,
Ginger, of Long Beach, Calif.; one stepdaughter, JoNell Yard and her husband,
Douglas, of Harrisville; one sister, Laretta Graham; and one favorite niece,
Tammy Fleeger, both of Worthington. He is also survived by a number of
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death
by two brothers, one sister and one stepson. Friends will be received from 10
a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Presbyterian Church of
Prospect. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Prospect. Memorial
