Clarence Leroy Foringer

Clarence Leroy Foringer, 84, of Worthington, died Thursday, December. 26, 2002,
at his home.

Born February 14, 1918, in West Monterey, Armstrong County, he was the son of
Samuel Henry and Nellie (Bell) Foringer.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

During World War II, he served with the Army Air Corps.

He was a line manager at the Butler County Airport, and previously was a line
foreman at Logan Clay.

Mr. Foringer was a member of Craigsville Methodist Church, where he was a former
deacon, the Kittanning Masons and the Coudersport Consistory.

Survivors include a son, Lyle L. Foringer of Worthington; a brother, Donald
Foringer of Freeport; and a sister, Geraldine Williams of Florence, S.C.

Also surviving is a granddaughter, Sarah Foringer.

Mr. Foringer was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Foringer; his parents,
Samuel and Nellie Foringer; and two brothers, Robert Foringer and Henry
Foringer.

Friends of Clarence L. Foringer, 84, of Worthington RD2, who died Dec. 26, 2002,
will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at
the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Bear St., Worthington, where funeral services
will be at 2 p.m. Sunday with his pastor, the Rev. Sherry Cook, officiating. 

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
