Frank Leroy Williams SR
Frank Leroy Williams Sr., 70, of Florence, SC. died Monday, January 12, 1987, in
Florence Hospital after an illness.
Born in Butler, July 11, 1916, he was the son of Walter Raymond and Grace
(Blose) Williams.
He was a 1936 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
Mr. Williams was retired plant superintendent of the Aluminum Ladder Co. in
Florence.
He was a member of the Central Methodist Church, the Elks Lodge, and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts, all of Florence.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Foringer Williams; a daughter, Mrs. Connie
Burke of Craigsville; two sons, Frank Leroy Williams Jr. of Severn, Md, and
Henry Raymond Williams of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a brother, George A.
Williams of Leesburg, Fla; four sisters, Mrs. Norma Hayes of Eustis, Fla., Mrs.
Virginia Rettig and Zetta Mae Pistorius, both of Butler, and Mrs. Pauline
Pomeroy of Mechanicsburg; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and entombment will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Florence
Memorial Garden Mausoleum Chapel, Florence, SC. |
