Vincent F. Rodgers, 69, of Fenelton R.D. 1, died May 23, 1986, in Armstrong
County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, after an extended illness.
Mr. Rodgers was retired from Pullman Standard, Butler, with over 25 years'
service.
He was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, the American
Legion Post 642 of Chicora, and the American Association of Retired Persons.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Born February 10, 1917, in Donegal Township, Butler County, he was the son of
John and Elizabeth Black Rodgers.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Zanella Rodgers, who he married June 21, 1948;
three daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Mary Ellen) McCune, Rose Ann Warren, and Mrs.
Richard (Rita) Gall, all of Butler; two sons, John F. Rodgers in California and
George V. of Feneton R.D. 1; and six grandchildren.
RODGERS- Friends of Vincent F. Rodgers of Fenelton R.D. 1, who died Friday, May
23, 1986, will be received at the Thomas M. Steighner Funeral Home, Chicora from
7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.  Funeral services
will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville,
with the Rev. John Palko, pastor, officiating.  Buriel will be in St. John
Cemetary, Coylesville. Arrangements by Steighner.
