Esther M. (Rodgers) Rhoades

Esther M. (Rodgers) Rhoades, 89, of Worthington, died Thursday, June 8, 2006, at
Sugar Creek Rest, Sugarcreek Township.
She was born May 29, 1917, in Craigsville to Hollace and Julia M. (Clark)
Rodgers.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the area.
She was a 1933 graduate of Worthington High School.
She enjoyed playing Scrabble, solving crossword puzzles, and visits from her
children and grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Donald Rhoades, of Worthington; two daughters, Judith
Toy and husband Sam, of Fenelton, and June English, of Worthington; eight
grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Richard
Rhoades, whom she married on April 27, 1938, and who died March 26, 2003; and
two sisters, Irene Hansotte and Hazel Orihel. |
