Norma M. Swigart

Norma M. (Davis) Swigart, 86, of Worthington RD2 died Monday, July 28, 2003 in
Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township.
She was born March 1, 1917 in Worthington to Edward and Grace (Long) Davis.
Mrs. Swigart was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Slate Lick. Her hobbies
were embroidery and reading. She enjoyed Bible study and was a lifelong resident
of the area.
Survivors include two sons, Edward Swigart and Harvey Swigart, both of
Worthington; two daughters, Mrs. John (Shirley) Rupp and Mrs. Michael (Marcia)
Trulick, both of Worthington; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul W. Swigart, whom she
married June 27, 1935 and who died March 26, 2002; one son, Harold Swigart; one
daughter, Iradell Simpson; one grandson, James Simpson; one granddaughter, Judy
Swigart; two brothers, Stuart and Glen Davis; and two sisters, Bernice Burns and
Vera Geibel. |
