Vera Catherine Lewis Kinter
Vera Catherine Lewis Kinter, 83, of Beverly Health Care, 14714 Park Ave. Ext.,
Meadville, formerly of 7504 Walnut St., Meadville, died Wednesday, January 5,
2000, at Meadville Medical Center.
Born July 7, 1916, in Worthington, she was a daughter of Newton P. and Clara J.
(Gaiser) Lewis.
She was a 1934 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She married Clair R. Kinter Dec. 6, 1941, who survives.
She was employed by Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa.
In addition to her husband of 58 years, survivors include several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Elizabeth Stewart; and three
brothers, Carl Leroy, John Newton and Samuel Charles Lewis.
Calling hours is today from 1 to 2 p.m. at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home Inc.,
614 Baldwin St., Meadville. Funeral and committal service follows at 2 p.m at
the funeral home, with the Rev. Harry Davies officiating.
Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery, Waterford, Pa.
The family suggests memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
