Everett Karl Gaiser

Everett Karl Gaiser, 86, formerly of RD 1, Ford City, Pa., died Monday, July 23,
2001 at the Armstrong County Health Center, Kittanning, Pa. 

He was born October 9, 1914 in Walk Chalk to Earl D. and Bessie S. (Hilliard)
Gaiser.

He was a 1934 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa

Mr. Gaiser retired from Shriver Bus Company where he worked for more than 20
years. Prior to that he was employed at Pullman-Standard in Butler, Pa., as a
welder.

He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington. 

An Army veteran, he serverd with honor during World War II and recieved an
honorable discharge on Aug. 8, 1946 with the rank of Private First Class. 
His hobbies were woodworking, hunting and the outdoors. 

Survivors include two sons, Gary Karl Gaiser of Ellijay, Georgia, and David
Everett Gaiser of Cowansville, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. Vaughn (Donna Carole)
Hooks of Ford City, Pa.; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one
brother, Chalmer Leroy Gaiser of Prospect, Pa., and one sister, Laretta Mae
Graham of Worthington. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 55 years, Catherine Louise
(Borden) Gaiser, who died March 21, 1996; one brother, Marvel Edwin Gaiser, who
passed away, April 20, 1991 and one sister, Thelma E. Pence. 

Friends of Everett Karl Gaiser, 86 who died July 23, 2001, will be
recieved from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home Inc. at 253 N. Grant Ave.,Kittanning, Pa., where
funeral sevices will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2001, with the Rev.
Robert L. Musick of the Kittanning Free Methodist Church, officiating. 

Internment will take place at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
