Frank J. Bono/1934

Frank J. "Sparky" Bono, 92, of Worthington, died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at
Sugarcreek Rest, after a short illness. He was born March 25, 1916, in
Worthington, son of the late James Bono and Mary (Trott) Bono. He worked for
Michigan Limestone Co., of Worthington, US Steel Sintering Plant, of Saxonburg,
and Baker's Gas Co., of Worthington. He was a member of St. John's Catholic
Church, Coylesville. Frank is survived by his three sons, William F. (Barbara)
Bono, of Butler, Richard A. (Beverly) Bono, of Kittanning, and Ronald L.
(Cheryl) Bono, of Worthington; three grandchildren, Mrs. Wendy Franceschi, Mrs.
Justine Trotta and Mrs. Colby Frazer; five great-grandchildren; brother, Rocco
Bono, of Worthington; and two sisters, Frances Abranovich, of Worthington, and
Delores Bono, of Worthington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by his wife, Sarah (Tierney) Bono, who died Feb. 13, 2002; four brothers;
and four sisters. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday
at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at
10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Catholic Church, Coylesville, with his pastor,
Father Kenneth Kezmarsky, as celebrant. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial
