Jack Ross Claypool
Jack Ross Claypool, 70 of Worthington RD1, died Friday, November 7 1986, at his
home.
A son of Nicholas P. and Iva (Bowser) Claypool, he was bron April 17, 1916, at
Vandergrift.
He was a member of the first graduating class of Worthington High School.
Mr Claypool was a self-employed television repairman and a veteran of World War
II, having served for six years in the Army Air Corps.
Surviving are his wife, Naomi Cessna Claypool; a stepson, George Burke of
Chicora; two stepdaughters, Betty Jack and Ronald (Peg) Denny both of Fenelton;
two brothers, Wolfred of Coolidge, Ariz., and Donald of Wantagh, NY; a sister,
Mrs Arthur (June) Smock of Coolidge, Ariz.; four stepgrandchildren and a number
of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy and Paul.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the F Duane Snyder
Funeral Home, Worthington, (formerly the James A Flick Funeral Home) where
services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Sharon Schwab will officiate.
Interment will be in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
